Thinner eyeglass lenses

In certain cases, opting for thinned lenses (high-index) is highly recommended. This is not only beneficial when your prescription is higher than ±2.00 diopters for a better aesthetic look but is also essential for semi-rimless (nylor) or rimless (drill-mount) frames. Thinned lenses are made from denser, more durable materials, providing the necessary strength for these specific frame types. You can explore our selection of high-index lenses here.

For the little ones under 7 years old with hyperopia (farsightedness), we offer specialized Essilor Junior Trio Clean lenses or Essilor Junior Airwear Prevencia. These are manufactured with a smaller diameter, making them exceptionally thin and lightweight for high plus prescriptions. For all other children, you can choose from our standard range of quality lenses.

Blue Light Filter Lenses. Select anti-reflective coatings include a built-in blue light filter, specifically designed for screen use (computers, tablets, smartphones, etc.). For the little ones under 7 years old, we offer the exceptional Essilor Junior Crizal Prevencia lenses. These specialized eyeglass lenses are impact-resistant, feature an advanced blue light filter, and are incredibly easy to clean. For all other children, you can choose from our wide selection of blue light filtering lenses to suit their needs.

Some lens models feature anti-reflective coatings that are more resistant to smudges and dirt than others, as well as more resistant to scratching. You can clean them extremely easily compared to the rest. We conditionally call these premium and you will find them in a separate category here.

When driving at night, we notice various reflections from light sources. These reflections are projected onto the surface of your lenses and distract your attention. There are lens models with a filter specifically designed to reduce these reflections.
