Essilor Transitions XTRActive – Ultimate Adaptive Protection for Drivers and Daily Life
The Transitions XTRActive is a high-performance optical solution from the renowned French manufacturer Essilor. Engineered for those who demand more from their eyewear, these photochromic lenses are specifically designed to provide superior darkness and comfort, not only during daily activities but also in the unique lighting conditions of a vehicle.
Engineered for the Modern Driver The most significant advantage of Transitions XTRActive is its ability to activate behind the windshield of a car. While standard photochromic lenses often remain clear inside a vehicle, XTRActive technology responds to both UV rays and visible light.
-
In-Car Comfort: The lenses achieve up to 50% tinting while you are driving, effectively reducing dashboard glare and the strain caused by bright sunlight on the road.
-
Maximum Outdoor Shading: When outdoors in direct sunlight, these lenses reach an impressive 90% tint intensity—the darkest in the Transitions family—providing protection equivalent to high-quality sunglasses.
Rapid Response and Visual Clarity The XTRActive series is characterized by its exceptional speed and responsiveness to changing light environments.
-
Intelligent Adaptation: The lenses transition smoothly and rapidly from clear to dark, ensuring your eyes are always protected without the need to switch between pairs of glasses.
-
Indoor Performance: Indoors or at night, the lenses maintain a very subtle 10% protective hint, which helps neutralize the harsh glare from digital screens and artificial lighting.
-
Enhanced Contrast: Equipped with a premium anti-reflective coating, these lenses minimize reflections and ghost images, delivering a high-contrast visual experience that is essential for safety during daytime driving.
Total Protection and Reliability Whether you are navigating through city traffic or spending a day outdoors, Transitions XTRActive provides comprehensive defense for your vision. They offer 100% protection against UVA and UVB rays, safeguarding your eyes throughout the year regardless of the weather.
The Essilor Transitions XTRActive is the definitive choice for active individuals who require intensive shading and the convenience of a lens that performs as well behind the wheel as it does in the office. Experience the confidence of clear, protected vision in every light condition.
