The MaskaLens Vizia Transitions XTRActive™ is a high-performance light-adaptive lens designed for those who require extra protection from intense light. While standard photochromic lenses are excellent for general use, the XTRActive™ technology is specifically engineered to reach a deeper tint outdoors and, most importantly, to activate behind the windshield of a car. This makes it a superior choice for drivers and individuals who spend significant time in bright, high-glare environments.
Advanced Light Adaptation for Drivers The XTRActive™ series is uniquely designed to respond to both UV light and visible light, allowing it to function where other adaptive lenses cannot.
-
Activation Behind the Windshield: Most photochromic lenses stay clear inside a car because the windshield blocks UV rays. XTRActive™ lenses react to visible light as well, allowing them to darken to a comfortable tint while driving, reducing glare and improving road safety.
-
Superior Outdoor Darkness: In direct sunlight, these lenses achieve an extra-dark tint, providing a level of comfort comparable to category 3 sunglasses. This is ideal for those with light-sensitive eyes or anyone spending long hours in open, bright spaces.
-
Indoor Clarity with a Hint of Protection: Indoors, the lenses maintain a very slight, nearly imperceptible tint. This serves a practical purpose by helping to neutralize the harsh glare from bright office lighting and digital screens.
Visual Comfort and Eye Health MaskaLens combines this intelligent adaptive technology with premium protective features to ensure a high-quality viewing experience.
-
Full UV and Blue Light Shield: These lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Furthermore, they provide the highest level of blue light filtration among photochromic lenses, protecting your eyes from the high-energy light emitted by the sun and digital devices.
-
Premium Anti-Reflective Coating: The integrated coating minimizes distracting reflections, providing sharp vision during nighttime driving and reducing eye fatigue during computer work.
Durability and Daily Maintenance Designed to be a reliable companion for an active lifestyle, the Vizia Transitions XTRActive™ includes layers that simplify upkeep:
-
Enhanced Scratch Resistance: A hardened surface treatment protects the lenses from the minor abrasions of daily handling, ensuring they remain clear for a long time.
-
Easy-to-Clean Surface: The smooth top layer repels water, grease, and fingerprints, making smudges much easier to wipe away with a microfiber cloth.
The Ultimate All-in-One Solution The MaskaLens Vizia Transitions XTRActive™ is a dependable investment for anyone seeking maximum visual comfort without the need to switch glasses. Whether you are navigating a busy highway, working in a brightly lit office, or enjoying a sunny day outdoors, these lenses adapt to your needs, providing professional-grade protection and clarity in every situation.
