The Leica Monovid Transitions Gen S is a high-performance optical lens that combines Leica’s legendary precision with the latest generation of light-adaptive technology. Designed for active individuals who move frequently between different lighting environments, these lenses offer an incredibly fast and seamless transition, ensuring your vision is always clear and protected.

The Next Generation of Light Adaptation: Transitions Gen S The Gen S technology represents a significant step forward in photochromic performance, focusing on speed and responsiveness.

• Ultra-Fast Reactivity: These lenses are designed to darken almost instantly when you step outdoors. Even more impressive is their return to full clarity, which happens significantly faster than previous generations, making them feel like a regular clear lens the moment you step inside.

• Intelligent Light Management: Whether in bright sunlight, under a cloudy sky, or in the shade, the lenses continuously adjust to provide the exact level of tint needed for optimal comfort.

• Vibrant Visual Experience: When activated, the lenses provide deep, rich colors with high contrast, while remaining perfectly clear and transparent indoors or at night.

Sleek Design and Enhanced Strength With a 1.6 refractive index, these lenses are thinned and lightened to provide a more refined look and a more comfortable feel on the face.

• Aesthetic Thinning: These lenses are approximately 25% thinner than standard ones, preventing a bulky appearance even with moderate prescriptions.

• Robust Durability: The 1.6 material is naturally stronger and more elastic than basic plastic. This makes the lenses highly suitable for all types of frames, including rimless (glazant) and semi-rimless designs, as they are very resistant to chipping and cracking.

Comprehensive Eye Health and Clarity Beyond their adaptive capabilities, Leica Monovid Gen S lenses prioritize your long-term vision and daily comfort.

• Full UV and Blue Light Protection: These lenses block 100% of UVA and UVB rays. Additionally, they provide a high level of blue light filtration, helping to protect your eyes from the glare of digital screens and intense artificial lighting.

• Premium Anti-Reflective Coating: The integrated coating minimizes distracting reflections, providing a clean, professional look and ensuring sharp vision during night driving or office work.

• Easy Upkeep: A specialized top layer repels water, dust, and fingerprints, making the lenses simple to maintain and keeping your vision unobstructed.

A Sophisticated Choice for Every Environment The Leica Monovid Transitions Gen S is a versatile and reliable solution for the modern lifestyle. It offers the speed and convenience of the most advanced photochromic technology available today, backed by the optical excellence of Leica. It is the perfect choice for those who value both style and effortless visual comfort.
